Are Your H.R. And Recruiters Wasting Your Precious Resources?

Latest Biz Dev

“No one wants to work at our dealerships or live in our area.” When I heard this from the head of human resources and recruiting for a Honda dealership group, I nearly fell out of my chair. “Joe, our dealership has terrible benefits so I won’t even consider candidates with families. They won’t last.” The person that said this was head of H.R. for a Texas Nissan store. Now I know what you are thinking, “Nothing like that happens at my...

Even if you dont have your ticket yet, it isnt too late to go. In addition to the informative seminars and conferences at NADA, this years exhibition floor will be a wonderland of innovation and ideas for auto dealers. Our early discussions with a number of participating automotive vendors indicates that there will be a whole host of new products, CRM solutions, marketing ideas, and new ways to squeeze more revenue out of that car lot of yours.

If you plan to attend, the show can be a daunting event-simply because there is almost too much to see and hear. We recommend you use our NADA Exhibit Hall Map pullout section available at the show, to help you plan your trek through the exhibition hall. We provided this map so that you can visit the companies that may offer solutions you need.

Another helpful pre-NADA resource for planning is the NADA.org Website. If you click on the NADA convention section, you will find complete listings and descriptions of the exhibitors and where their booth will be located. If you have specific needs, you might want to come ready to buy-many exhibitors offer Show Only specials on several of their products or services. Many will also negotiate a better deal if you are willing to sign on the line at the show.

If you do attend NADA this year, I hope you will stop by Dealer Marketing Magazines booth, #5029. Weve ramped up the size of our booth this year to better offer our products, including television commercials, books, radio jingles, and more. Well also be offering mini-seminars by experts in several marketing fields, so watch for the schedule. Come by and receive a free copy of the February issue of the magazine, and say hello to Mandy and the rest of her crew.

See you in New Orleans
