We are looking for several experienced technicians to fill positions in at least two locations in greenville. ASE certification is desired but will consider experience than can be verified. Flexibility is a must as we are open 7 days a week M-F 7-7 sat 7-6 sun 8-5. Pay is based on experience and qualifications as Flat rate pay. You must have your own tools. The job descriptions below are what we are looking for. Lead Technician - Master Technician As Lead Technician you will diagnose and repair automotive systems. Major activities include: * Assisting (not training) technician mechanics in performing technical activities. * Diagnoses and repairs to specifications - brake and hydraulic exhaust primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical suspension and alignment air conditioning and computer systems. * Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis. * Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. * Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. * Maintains an organized and neat bay. Senior Technician - Journeyman As Senior Technician you will diagnose and repair automotive systems. Major activities include: * Assisting (not training) technician mechanics in performing technical activities. * Diagnoses and repairs to specifications - brake and hydraulic exhaust primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical suspension and alignment air conditioning and computer systems. * Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis. * Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. * Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. * Maintains an organized and neat bay. Technician Apprentice As a Technician Apprentice you assist Technicians in all technical activities as an apprentice in this entry-level position. Major activities include: * Installs parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems. * Changes transmission fluid and filters. * Installs batteries and checks electrical systems. * Road test vehicles. * Learns how to diagnose and repair basic systems to become certified in a minimum of five areas with a preference for brakes alignments suspensions cooling and electrical. * Progresses to the position Technician.
