Conversica Announces Talent Acquisition From Apple
Seattle artificial intelligence company announces a key new hire, Nick Kypreos
April 17, 2017 — Conversica has announced the addition of Nick Kypreos as its principal machine learning scientist.
Prior to joining Conversica, Kypreos was a software engineer at Apple. Kypreos has experience as a data scientist and software engineer at various Seattle startups and at Amazon; he’s also a co-organizer of the long-running Seattle Scalability Meetup. He earned his PhD in physics from the University of Florida, where he worked on the CMS experiment at CERN.
“I’m thrilled to join Conversica as we are expanding and developing our AI platform and machine learning presence,” said Kypreos. “This is just the right fit for my background bridging the gaps between research, data, product, and engineering teams. I’m excited to break new ground in our AI platform to bring us to new heights.”
