Dealer Specialties launches Inventory Manager 3.0

CINCINNATI, January 26, 2010– Dealer Specialties, a division of Dominion Dealer Solutions and the nation’s largest provider of comprehensive inventory management solutions, websites and marketing tools, is excited to announce the newest version of their industry-leading inventory management tool.

Inventory Manager (IVM) 3.0 was completely redesigned to provide more intuitive navigation  and create an enriched experience. IVM 3.0 enhancements include one-click access to frequently used tools such as inventory, websites, analytics, Craigslist and eBay; a separate section for dealers who opt to manage their own inventory; extensive user customization options; new marketing functionality; more comprehensive reporting and an engaging new user interface. The company’s pricing analytics and appraisal tool, “The Analyzer,” also received enhancements.

“IVM 3.0 has been redesigned with our customers in mind. Our goal was to provide seamless access to the information dealers need to effectively and efficiently run their business. In addition to the system enhancements and tools, dealers can customize the appearance of their user interface including themes, colors and how information is displayed,” says Glen Garvin, Dealer Specialties general manager of product and development. “These customizations empower dealers to create their own unique screens for data fields and data display—how they want, when they want. The flexibility provides the dealership with control in personalizing their IVM tool.”

New asset management products include adding inventory, taking photos and printing window labels. Joe Kirby, of Edd Kirby’s Chevrolet/Chrysler/Jeep in Dalton, Ga., says, “The do-it-yourself tools in Dealer Specialties’ IVM, including batch uploads of photos, using their VIN camera, and batch descriptions make changes fast and efficient. Adding in the ability to upload to Vast, eBay and Craigslist from the same software makes this product well worth the money to us and works without a hitch.”

“IVM 3.0 is as easy as it is intuitive. Our dealers have been praising the overall look and power of the site in the beta release and we look forward to the product’s increasing adoption and usage throughout 2010,” says Garvin.
