DealersLink to Unveil MotorCloud Retail Consumer Site at NADA 2017
New site uses cloud technology to streamline auto purchases
Broomfield, CO — January 23, 2017 — DealersLink will unveil its retail consumer site, MotorCloud, in Booth 4801 at the NADA 2017 Convention and Expo January 26-29 in New Orleans. MotorCloud leverages DealersLink’s deep history in automotive software innovation, as well as its existing group of dealer members, to disrupt the online retail consumer space and compete directly with major sites like AutoTrader.com, Cars.com, and TrueCar.com.
MotorCloud.com utilizes cutting-edge mobile cloud and app technologies to streamline the auto-buying experience with a focus on promoting dealership prestige. As more customers move to mobile, this is expected to be a major growth segment for DealersLink.
MotorCloud has been under development for over three years by the DealersLink Black Ops Dev Team and will be available to DealersLink members in the second quarter of 2017.
DealersLink has a history of first-to-market innovation, including the first dealer-to-dealer trading platform, mobile VIN-scanning app breakthroughs, a cloud-based multi-book evaluator, a no-fee live auction, and cloud-based cameras. MotorCloud is expected to up the ante in that evolution with an even more powerful set of tools for dealers and retail consumers.
“DealersLink was built on innovations that bring value to dealers,” said CEO Mike Goicoechea. “We’re incredibly excited about MotorCloud because we’ve now entered the retail classified space, so we’re bringing value not only to our dealers, but their customers as well.”
DealersLink is allowing its members first-mover access to MotorCloud, and providing $1,000 advertising credit for each year they have been a DealersLink member. Added Goicoechea, “Our members always get first priority when it comes to new product launches and other innovations coming out of our R&D team.”
