Dealer-selected Topics/Speakers Announced for Auto Industry’s Most Progressive Dealership Summit
Salt Lake City, Utah—September 12, 2011—DrivingSales today announced the dealer-selected agenda for the third annual DrivingSales Executive Summit (DSES), the industry’s most progressive dealership summit. The list of topics and speakers, all chosen by dealers from an impressive array of submissions, rounds out a diverse agenda for October’s Vegas summit that already includes keynotes from digital marketing visionaries Gary Vaynerchuk, Rob Siefker and Aaron Strout.
“At the DrivingSales Executive Summit, we ask dealers, not vendors, to set our agenda and this year’s list of topics is a true snapshot of where the nation’s most progressive dealers will be putting their emphasis in 2012,” said DrivingSales Founder and CEO Jared Hamilton. “At DSES, we focus on providing hundreds of the industry’s most forward-thinking dealers with an opportunity to collaborate and interact in a productive environment that nurtures new thinking and the exchange of innovative approaches to increasing profitability.”
Presentations from some of the nation’s most successful dealerships make up 50% of the summit agenda, with topics ranging from how one dealership achieved the #1 closing ratio in the country, to how another was able to grow sales 230% through social media, to best practices for managing dealership websites for optimal conversion. Dealer speakers include Jeff Cryder of Lebanon Ford, Mark McGurran of Jerry Durant Auto Group, Tracy Myers of Frank Myers Auto Maxx, Eric Miltsch of Auction Direct and Mark Beithon of Rudy Luther Toyota.
“For the most progressive dealers, some topics never get old, whether it is how to improve web conversion, or best practices for effective lead management – or the more recent debates about the importance of integrating social media and mobile into daily dealership practice,” continued Hamilton. “At DSES, the approach to these enduring and critical dealership topics is always fresh, infused with the on-the-ground wisdom of dealer presenters who are achieving exceptional results, along with visionary ideas from leaders outside our industry who have solved many of these issues in innovative ways.”
Dealers also voted to hear presentations from a variety of industry digital and data experts, including a groundbreaking new study on social media, new practices for improving dealership rankings in 2012, and how to analyze social media ROI and spot wasteful investments.
